What is Seller Stamp Duty?
Seller stamp duty (SSD) is a tax imposed on property sales in Singapore. It discourages rapid property flipping by charging a percentage of the sale price, with rates declining the longer you hold the property. The duty is payable by the seller within 14 days of the option-to-purchase (OTP) exercise date.
